Established in 2004, the practice focuses on residential buildings and renovations within the Greater Toronto Area, as well as beyond the city in cottage country. Previous projects have also included designs for multi-unit housing, and institutional renovations.
The approach I take is one of close collaboration with clients to incorporate their needs and wishes into an architecture that expresses clarity, functionality, sustainability, and delight. This process is applied in a wide range of projects; smaller home renovations in compact downtown environments, additions to existing homes, free standing residences set in landscapes, and mid rise multi-unit residences.
The spectrum of services offered include:
- design of residential buildings, additions and interior renovations
- design of institutional alterations
- production of drawings for planning permissions including the Committee of Adjustment and the Ontario Municipal Board / Ontario Land Tribunal
- production of technical drawings for issuance to building officials for building permits and to general contractors, including the coordination of drawings from required engineers and other consultants
- site review and contract administration during construction
